Privacy Policy
Effective October 10, 2026
This policy explains what YTA Publisher (“the app”) does with data. The app is a personal tool used only by its operator to publish videos to the operator’s own YouTube channel, Facebook Page and Instagram professional account. It has no other users.
Information the app accesses
- Google / YouTube: an OAuth refresh token for the operator’s YouTube channel, granted through Google sign-in with the scopes
youtube.uploadandyoutube.readonly. The app uses them to upload the operator’s approved videos and to read public YouTube search results and public video statistics (titles, tags, view, like and comment counts). - Meta (Facebook and Instagram): a Page access token for the operator’s own Facebook Page and its linked Instagram professional account, used only to upload and publish the operator’s videos.
- Content: the operator’s own videos, titles, descriptions, captions and hashtags.
The app does not collect information about viewers, subscribers or any other person, and it does not use cookies, analytics or advertising.
How the information is used
- To upload and publish videos the operator has explicitly approved.
- To research publicly searched keywords so the video’s title, description and tags are relevant.
Public YouTube search results and the video’s script may be sent to an AI model provider (Anthropic) only to draft that video’s title, description and tags. They are not used to train AI models, and no account tokens are ever sent.
Google API Services User Data Policy
YTA Publisher’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is not sold, not used for advertising, not shared with third parties except as described above, and not used to develop or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
The app uses YouTube API Services: see the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Storage and security
Tokens and settings are stored only on the operator’s private, self-hosted automation server, which is reachable only by the operator. Videos and their metadata are kept there for the operator’s records and can be deleted at any time.
Sharing
Data is shared only with the platforms the operator publishes to (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram) and, as described above, the AI model provider used to draft metadata. Nothing is sold or rented.
Revoking access
- Google / YouTube: remove YTA Publisher at Google Account → Third-party connections (also at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).
- Facebook / Instagram: remove the app under Facebook Settings → Business integrations.
Data deletion
To delete all data the app holds, revoke access as described above and email CONTACT_EMAIL asking for deletion. Stored tokens and any saved video data are deleted within 30 days and the deletion is confirmed by email. Videos already published to YouTube, Facebook or Instagram are managed on those platforms and can be deleted there.
Children
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly process children’s data.
Changes
Changes to this policy are posted on this page with a new effective date.
